JM’s 2017 Chardonnay was fermented in French oak barrels (30% new and 70% previously used) producing a smooth texture with subtle oak spice flavors. This Chardonnay went through complete malolactic fermentation imparting a hint of buttery notes. The wine was stirred each week for eight months and put in bottle July of 2018. With over a year in bottle this is ready to drink now, but can age for another three to five years if that’s your preference. Our tasting team at JM picked up on the following flavors and aromas: pineapple, guava, granny smith apple, both refreshing AND full-bodied with a super long finish. Yummy too!
